Providence Hall Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Summit Academy
 
Providence Hall and Summit Academy traded the lead back-and-forth on Saturday, but eventually Providence Hall prevailed 8-5. Providence Hall took the lead for good in the fifth inning. The game was tied at four with Providence Hall batting in the top of the fifth when Kaydon Boynton homered off of Vanderlinden, driving in three runs.
 
Kaydon Boynton led Providence Hall to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. Boynton drove in runs on a double in the first and a home run in the fifth.
 
Providence Hall took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Boynton drove in two runs when he doubled.
 
MacKade Beck earned the win for Providence Hall. He went seven innings, surrendering five runs, six hits, striking out five, and walking zero. Vanderlinden took the loss for Summit Academy. He pitched six innings, surrendering eight runs, ten hits, and striking out six.
 
Providence Hall had 13 hits in the game. Boynton, Ethan Ott, and Thomas Morales each collected multiple hits for Providence Hall. Morales, Ott, and Boynton.
